Decisions made by our community leaders regarding issues like infrastructure, budget, economic development, and public safety will have a significant impact on us all.
Our leaders must develop and implement systematic solutions that are fiscally responsible to ensure a secure future for all of Spring Hill.
Infrastructure: We need to develop a comprehensive, pro-active plan to ensure our roadways, water supply, sewer/drainage systems, etc. not only support our current population, but our impending growth as well. Continued focus on greenway and recreational park facilities and amenities to promote health and wellness for all citizens of Spring Hill.
FinancialStability: Government should be run using core business principles and Spring Hill should operate and manage our city finances within a conservative, balanced budget. Ensure that Spring Hill receives our fair share of available funding programs by working with State and Federal legislators. Establish a “Rainy Day” fund to help provide a secure financial future for Spring Hill safeguarding fiscal responsibility.
EconomicDevelopment: We should strive to attract and retain business by creating a pro-business atmosphere for continued economic development in Spring Hill. Review incentive programs such as PILOTs for new and expanding businesses.
PublicSafety: It is imperative that we have an adequate ratio of emergency responders (Police, Fire and EMS) to accommodate the needs of our growing population. Appropriately funding our operational requirements to ensure the safety of our citizens, especially seniors and children is a top priority.
